The Little Brick Market FAQ

How do I sell or trade in my LEGO®?

Just bring your LEGO® into the shop and we’ll take care of the rest. Depending on how busy the store is, evaluations can take up to 72 hours. If we can't get to it right away, you’re welcome to drop it off, and we’ll contact you when the evaluation is complete.

What do you look at when evaluating LEGO®?

We take pride in being thorough and fair. Here’s what we consider:

  • Condition (cleanliness, damage, missing parts)
  • Completeness (are all the bricks there?)
  • Whether it includes the original box and manual
  • Minifigure count and condition
  • Market value using trusted sources like BrickLink
  • Most importantly: how desirable or in-demand the item is for our store and community

How much do I get for my LEGO®?

Once we’ve evaluated your items, we’ll give you a fair offer based on our tiered system:

  • 40% in cash
  • 60% in trade credit toward our LEGO® inventory

💡These are our baseline rates. If your set is especially rare, in high demand, or in excellent condition, we may offer more. If it’s something less in demand, the offer might be a bit lower. We always aim to be fair and transparent.

What if I just want to trade, not sell?

Perfect! You’ll get the most value when trading for used LEGO®. Many of our regulars build their collections this way. We’re happy to help you trade up.

Can I just get a quote without committing?

Absolutely. We’re happy to give you a no-pressure evaluation so you can think it over. Just drop off your sets and we’ll follow up with you.

Please note:

At this time, we’re only offering trade and sale evaluations in store. We’re not able to provide quotes through email or social media. This helps us give each collection the proper attention it deserves. Thanks for understanding!

What kinds of LEGO® do you accept?

We accept most LEGO® sets, and minifigs, as long as they’re clean and in decent shape. If you’re not sure, bring it in and we’ll take a look together.

Do I need to bring the box or instructions?

It helps, but it’s not required. We’ll still evaluate the set, and we’ll let you know if those items affect the value.

How do I get started?

Swing by the store during business hours, or give us a heads-up if you’re planning to drop off a large collection. We’re excited to see what you’ve got!

What if my As-Is set is missing some pieces?

Completing sets takes extra time and cost. Our As-Is option is a happy middle ground between our fully complete sets and our project sets. In fact we've found that most As-Is sets turn out to be complete or very close to complete!

Here are a few ways you can take care of your As-Is set missing some pieces:

  1. Visit www.bricklink.com to order individual parts. (we can assist with this process!)
  2. If you have the original LEGO® box/instructions, you can contact LEGO® Customer Service—they often
    ship replacement parts!
  3. Or try Our Pick a Brick or LEGO’s Pick a Brick service for single pieces.

Our Promise: If for any reason you’re unsatisfied, please contact us - we’ll always do our best to make it right.
